This thematic event by the Australia Awards in collaboration with the Northern Australia Universities Alliance will bring together leading researchers, policymakers, and practitioners from the three major universities in Northern Australia to address critical issues such as climate change, post-pandemic recovery, gender and disability equity, and geopolitical security.
The forum will feature keynote addresses from distinguished speakers, including from the Australian Government and key Indo-Pacific nations, as well as panel discussions on regional cooperation, sustainable development, and capacity building. Participants will engage in multidisciplinary discussions across economics, health, education, governance, and community development, focusing on sustainable and culturally appropriate approaches to regional cooperation. By participating in this event, scholars will gain valuable insights, expand their professional network, and be part of a community dedicated to addressing common challenges and achieving mutual sustainability outcomes in the Indo-Pacific region.
